Nina Hastie is a permanent fixture in the South African comedy industry – with over a decade of stand-up comedy experience, and having performed at most of the major festivals: The Comedy Central International Comedy Festival, The Johannesburg International Comedy Festival, with outstanding live performances at ensemble shows like Inner City Comedy, and her much talked about Bitches Be Back performance she has cemented her place amongst stand-up comedy heavy weights. Not only has she made breakthroughs on the live stage, but is fast becoming a well-respected comedic actor and writer. Nina writes on Bantu Hour, Ses Top La, and Thandeka’s Diary. You’ll also find the funny girl popping up on your television screens on a daily talk show called: Trending SA (Weeknights at 10pm on SABC 3, with repeats at 12pm)

Hastie mixes a lovely blend of English, SiPitori and Zunglish on stage and is comfortable in front of any audience which makes her a wonderful choice for corporate events as well as music festivals.
